4th of July Golf Cart & ATV Parade and Decoration Contest!

Calling all members and their guests!

Get ready to show off your creativity, patriotism, and community spirit at our annual 4th of July Golf Cart & ATV Parade and Decoration Contest! This is your chance to compete for 1st, 2nd, or 3rd Place, earn some serious bragging rights, have your name displayed on a commemorative plaque, and take home some great prizes!

Whether your cart is covered in stars and stripes, glowing with lights, or decked out in a one-of-a-kind theme, we want to see it!

Important Information

1. Event Date

Saturday, July 4th

2. Line-Up and Parade Start

Please have your golf cart or ATV decorated and ready to go!

Meet in front of the Caretaker's Shop between 6:45 PM and 7:00 PM for lineup.

The parade will begin promptly at 7:30 PM.

The parade will conclude at the Pavilion.

3. Driver Requirements

All drivers must be 14 years of age or older.

4. Registration

If you plan to participate, please call or text 903-869-4333 and leave your name and lot number.

5. Judging Criteria

Our judges will keep things simple and fun! They will be looking for:

• Originality
• Costuming
• Craftsmanship
• Patriotism
• Creative use of LED Lighting

6. Safety First

Safety is everyone's responsibility.

• Maintain a safe distance from the vehicle in front of you.
• Drivers are responsible for ensuring all passengers remain safely seated on their carts or ATVs throughout the parade.

7. Music and Sound Systems

Planning to bring the tunes? Please let us know during lineup if you'll have music or amplified sound so we can properly space participants.

8. After the Parade

Once the parade reaches the Pavilion, please be patient and allow the judges time to inspect all entries before making their final decisions.

9. Award Presentation

Winners will be announced at the Pavilion shortly after judging is completed.

Be sure to stick around—you might be taking home a prize and some neighborhood glory!

Parade Route

The parade will begin at the Caretaker's Shop.

Judges will be stationed along the route, including near the King and Densmore residences, and will finish judging at the Pavilion.
